Colleton Prep senior Cole Gullotti inked a baseball scholarship to attend West Virginia Wesleyan in Buckhannon, W.Va., on Wednesday Nov. 11. The Bobcats compete in Division II within the Mountain East Conference. Gullotti also received an offer from Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C.
Gullotti, a four-year varsity letterman who transferred to Colleton Prep last year, maintains a 3.2 GPA. He was recruited by the Bobcats as a third baseman after he sent in his highlights.

“I really loved the location of the school,” said Gullotti. He has been playing baseball since he was five-years old. “I felt like the baseball program was the right fit for me. Academics are also especially important to me and West Virginia Wesleyan seemed like a great place for me to pursue my education.”
“It has been a pleasure to coach Cole,” said War Hawk Head Baseball Coach Cody Mincey. “He is a hard-working dedicated student-athlete who is going to do great things in life. As far as baseball goes, with his power, versatility and work ethic, you can be assured Cole will be an asset at the next level.”
“I would like to thank my parents for always making sure I had the best equipment and for taking me to me to games and practices growing up,” said Gullotti. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I would also like to thank Coach Cody Mincey, my high school baseball coach, and my trainer, Brian Rorick, for their help getting me prepared for college.”
Gullotti is the son of Todd Gullotti and Donna Brown.
He plans to pursue a business management degree at West Virginia Wesleyan.
