Historian Jeff W. Grigg of Green Pond was featured on episode 5 of the six-part documentary “Enslaved: The Lost History of the Transatlantic Slave Trade,” featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Simcha Jacobivici.
Episode 5 was partially filmed in Colleton Country and features Grigg telling the story of the Combahee River Raid during the Civil War.
Grigg consulted for this episode based on his book “Combahee River Raid, Harriet Tubman and Lowcountry Liberation”.
The series premiered on EPIX channel and is now on BBC2.
