Gifts to CCHS Men Varsity Basketball Team

Colleton County natives who are members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated held a presentation Friday morning at Colleton County High School. Members of the fraternity donated custom navy sports blazers and navy and silver neck ties to the Colleton County Men Varsity Basketball team. Blazers will be worn for every Friday night game through the remaining of the season. The presentation took place at 10 a.m.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University in Washington D.C. by three undergraduate college men and one faculty advisor. Since its founding in 1911, Omega Psi Phi’s stated purpose has been to attract and build a strong and effective force of men dedicated to its cardinal principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift.
