Diane Marie Turner Farr, 78, of Ridgeville, South Carolina, entered eternal rest Thursday night, January 5, 2023, at Summerville Hospice House. Diane was born January 31, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was the daughter to the late Samuel James Tuner and the late Connie Schmuckie Turner. She is the devoted wife of fifty-seven years to James Russell Farr, Sr. Mrs. Farr was a faithful and devoted Christian, and worked many years as a clerk for Seven-Eleven. She was an avid knitter, being well known for her talents in knitting, she made blankets and hats for babies and many other outreach programs over the years. She was a phenomenal cook with several recipes. Diane loved to read and watch her favorite television programs. As a Navy wife, she raised both her children as a roll of mom and dad. Diane was a loving mother and wife and always told her family to “Watch all eleven fingers” In addition to her husband, James, she is also survived by her son, James Farr, Jr.; her daughter, Mellisa Farr; her grandchildren, Myles Everett Davis Farr, Tiffanie Davis and Samuel York; great-grandchildren, Amalia York, Isabell Davis and Anthony Davis; and a brother John Anthony Turner (Janice ) A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
