Fall Youth Sports registration is now open at the Colleton County Recreational Complex.
Colleton youth can now sign up to participate in more than a dozen sports, which start in August for the fall season. Teams include baseball, softball, coed flag football and Tee Ball.
Children as young as three years old can participate in a team. Most teams range in age brackets from 3-4 years old for Coed Tee Ball to 11-12 for Majors Baseball.

The Colleton County Parks and Recreation Department (CCPR) is also looking for more individuals and businesses to sponsor teams for fall youth programs. According to the CCPRD, the center’s programs “consistently involve thousands” of participants and “hundreds of volunteer coaches.”
The sponsor fee provides a team with a jersey that will feature the sponsor’s name and logo. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor for a fall rec team can go to the CCPR Department’s Web site and follow the prompts to become a sponsor.
