Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Clifton Litchfield of Three Mile Road in Walterboro, died Tuesday evening, January 7, 2020 at her residence after an extended illness. She was 75.

Mrs. Litchfield was born March 1, 1944 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Robert F. "Bob" Clifton and Gladys Stanley Clifton. She had retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton as a press operator and was a member of the Carolina Girls Line Dancing Group. Mrs. Litchfield enjoyed caring for her family and loved her children and grandchildren very much.

Surviving are her husband: J.R. "Jimmie" Litchfield of Walterboro; sons: Rodd Litchfield and wife Sarah of New Smyrna, Florida and Todd Litchfield and wife Lori of Walterboro; brothers: Robert Clifton of Varnville and Harry Clifton and wife Kendra of Darlington; sisters: Barbara Tuten and husband Ronald of Columbia and Linda Nettles and husband Bob of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren: Michael and David Litchfield of New Smyrna, Florida, Jordyn, Justin and Dalton Litchfield of Walterboro; and a special niece: Tambra Tuten Medley and husband Carlton of Chapin. There are several nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Mrs. Litchfield was predeceased by two sisters: Betty Priester and Delores Hadwin.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Elder Robert Dobson with burial in the Sandy Run Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM prior to services at the Chapel located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to SCOA Cares Foundation, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
