Colleton County Sheriff’s Office Reports

12/20/22-ROUND O: Officer responded to ACE Basin Parkway (Circle K gas station) in reference to an employee calling and stating that someone had just shoplifted two cases of Bud Light. Shoplifting less than $2000 - 1st Offense.

12/20/22-WALTERBORO: Officer responded to Anderson Road for a theft of a catalytic converter. Petit Larceny less than $2,000.

12/20/22-COTTAGEVILLE: Officer responded to Colleton Medical Center in reference to an assault. Contact was made with the victim who was assaulted by two assailants on Monday, Dec. 19. Victim stated the incident occurred on Starlight Lane. Assault And Battery by Mob (Bodily Injury) 3rd Degree.

12/20/22-WALTERBORO: An officer spoke with the victim by phone. The complainant stated that his wife's wedding ring set went missing from their residence on Calabash Creek Lane sometime in the last two weeks. The rings were last seen in his wife's bathroom. The Complainant believes one of the females employed to clean the residence took the ring. The rings are described as a wedding band set, gold, with a large emerald stone. Grand Larceny greater than $10,000.

12/20/22-WALTERBORO: At approximately 4:46 p.m., an officer responded to Jefferies Highway in reference to a disturbance as a result of a burglary. Complainant called dispatch due to three subjects being on his property and not leaving. Upon arrival, one subject stated he was there because he had information that stolen items were at this residence.
