Colleton County Sheriff’s Office Reports:

11/19/2022 - WALTERBORO: A deputy responded to Sunshine Lane in Colleton County in reference to an assault.

11/19/2022 - RIDGEVILLE: A deputy spoke with the victim on the telephone who said that overnight someone took two large sofas from under the carport at her residence on Honor Lane.

11/19/2022 - WALTERBORO: An officer was dispatched to Mandy Avenue to an assault that had already occurred. When the deputy arrived on the scene, they met with the complainant and interviewed the complainant, a witness, and the suspect.

11/19/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 10:57 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver failed to stop for blue lights. Subsequently, the vehicle and driver were located. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and failing to stop for blue lights.

11/19/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officers were dispatched to Bedon Road to an unknown person discharging a firearm at night that struck his vehicle.

11/19/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 8:30 p.m. CCSO responded to Colleton County Medical Center to a report of a patient with a gunshot wound. The on-duty investigator was notified and responded to incident location at Clover Hill Road and Oregon Road.

11/20/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 9:05 a.m. an officer was responded to a report of an unknown suspect stealing a wallet.

11/20/2022 - ROUND O: At approximately 6:26 p.m. CCSO responded to an attempted break-in at a residence on Freeman Lane.

11/21/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 8:30 a.m. CCSO officers responded to a physical altercation at the Colleton County High School.

11/21/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 2:48 a.m. CCSO responded in reference to shots fired.

11/21/2022 - GREEN POND: Officers were dispatched in reference to shots fired into the dwelling. Upon arrival, units discovered shell casings leading from the property of Oregon Rd. toward the intersection of Oregon Rd. and Clover Hill Rd. While officers were on scene, another shooting took place at the intersection of Oregon and Clover Hill, resulting in one person being reportedly shot in the leg and transported by Fire-Rescue.

11/21/2022 - SMOAKS: At approximately 8:03 a.m. CCSO responded to a report near Smoaks of a person outside the house with a gun. The suspect was arrested for pointing and presenting a firearm at a person. A warrant will be sought.

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 9:36 p.m. CCSO responded to Beach Road and Sandy Springs Circle in reference to shots fired.

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 10:03 p.m. CCSO responded to Beach Road and Cypress Pond in reference to shots fired.

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officer responded to Clover Hill Road after a report of shots fired into a brick home including a glass window.

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officer responded to a call on Red Tail Court in Colleton County where the officer observed a suspicious vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted which led to the driver being arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a handgun. Evidence taken into custody included a black Palmetto State Armory AR-15 pistol, a black Glock Model 19, and a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana.

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: Several officers responded to a residence located in Colleton County in regards to a shooting incident. No parties were injured. .

11/22/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officers responded to a residence in Colleton County after the caller said his house trailer had been shot.

11/23/2022 - RIDGEVILLE: At approximately 12:55 p.m. the victim received an alert that a package had been delivered to a mailbox located along the road in front of a home. The victim said that she did not check the mailbox until Nov. 23 when she was discovered that the package was not in the mailbox. She checked with the postal service to confirm that the package was delivered and they confirmed that it was. The package contained a star scope telescope and was valued at $60. She does not know who took it but advised that a white male in his 30s had been riding around the area and may be suspect in the theft. No further information to report.

11/23/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officer responded to the corner of Robertson Blvd. and Barracuda Rd. in reference to Fire-Rescue personnel finding a man with down syndrome walking down the road unattended and lost.

11/23/2022 - ROUND O: At approximately 8:34 p.m. an officer responded to Ace Basin Parkway to a vehicle fire.

11/23/2022 - COTTAGEVILLE: An officer responded to Stonewall Hill Dr. in reference to a hit and run that occurred on a private drive leading to a trailer park.

11/23/2022 - WALTERBORO: An officer responded to Sanford Court in reference to a larceny from a motor vehicle at a residence.

11/24/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 12:50 p.m. an officer received a call of a stolen vehicle on Forest Hills Road.

11/24/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 4:47 p.m. an officer responded to David Street in reference to a missing person.

11/24/2022 - COTTAGEVILLE: At approximately 12:15 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Augusta Highway to a vehicle fire. When the officer arrived, Fire-Rescue was already putting out the fire on a white 2000 Ford F250. Officer made contact with the owner of the vehicle. She said she was in the camper with her boyfriend when he said he heard a boom. He pulled up the surveillance cameras on his cell phone and saw their truck on fire. She called 911.

11/25/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 1:43 p.m. officers responded to Sidneys Road., in Walterboro to larceny from a motor vehicle.

11/25/2022 - WALTERBORO: At approximately 12:43 officer responded to Round O after a report of someone discharging a firearm in front of a dwelling.

11/26/2022 - SMOAKS: Officer responded to Buckhead Road after a report of a residence being broken into and items stolen.

11/26/2022 - WALTERBORO: Officer responded to Hallie Lane regarding a burglary.

11/27/2022 - RUFFIN: At approximately 7:56 a.m. officers responded to Bells Hwy, in the Ruffin area, concerning a missing person.

Walterboro Police Department Reports:

11/19/2022-ASSAULT AND BATTERY 3RD DEGREE: Officer was dispatched to Rivers Street to an assault.

11/23/2022 - PETIT LARCENY: Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a wallet being stolen. Contact was made with the victim and camera footage was reviewed.

11/18/2022 – SHOPLIFTING: Officers were dispatched to IGA in reference to two offenders, one black male, and one black female, shoplifting. While enroute, dispatch advised the suspects had successfully fled in a silver car with cases of beer.

11/19/2022 - MALICIOUS INJURY TO ANIMALS, PERSONAL PROPERTY: Officer was dispatched to Klein Street regarding damage to private property.

11/20/2022 – BURGLARY: Officers were dispatched to Jefferies Boulevard to a storage unit reportedly being burglarized. Once officers were on the scene, it was discovered the lock and area around the lock had already been replaced by the storage unit and no video surveillance was located.

11/20/2022 - LEAVING THE SCENE OF ACCIDENT W/ PROPERTY DAMAGE: Officers were dispatched to Bells Highway to the Super 8 Motel to a hit and run.

11/21/2022 - GRAND LARCENY: Units responded to Wichman Street to reported stolen property.

11/21/2022 -Officers responded to a collision where a vehicle had struck a building.

11/21/2022 - WEAPON OFFENSE: Officers were dispatched to a victim being held captive by the suspect.

11/21/2022 - ASSAULT AND BATTERY 1ST DEGREE: Officers were dispatched to a victim being held captive by the suspect.

11/22/2022 - LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE: Officers were dispatched to Colleton Medical in reference to a hit and run that had occurred the day before. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim and who said between the hours of 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. an unknown person struck her 2021 Nissan Altima.

11/24/2022 - LEAVING THE SCENE OF ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE: Officers were dispatched to Bethea Street after a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival, a victim reported a hit-and-run had occurred.
