CRIME REPORTS: 11/17/2022


11/11/2022 - SMOAKS: An officer responded to Strawberry Farm Road after a report of a burglary.

11/11/2022 – WALTERBORO: An officer responded to Davis Circle after two motorcycles were reported removed from the property.

11/11/2022 – WALTERBORO: Officers responded to Fourth Street after a report of a male who attempted to enter the residence. The complainant said a male opened her rear patio door and that she confronted him. She said the suspect then left out the same door. Deputies responded and checked the area, but no suspect was located. The complainant called again while the officers’ patrol car was in the driveway with the blue lights on, claiming someone was knocking on the door. Deputies determined the complaint was unfounded.

11/11/2022 – WALTERBORO: At approximately 11:55 a.m. CCSO responded to Green Pond Highway concerning an altercation between roommates. Dustin Zachary Rodriquez, 25, was arrested for unlawful storage/possession of a machine gun/sawed-off shotgun/rifle and pointing and presenting firearms at a person.

11/12/2022 – WALTERBORO: At approximately 12:01 p.m., a deputies responded to Madison Street in reference to a burglary. The case will remain open for further investigation.

11/14/2022 - WALTERBORO: at approximately 11:00 a.m. an officer met with a mother and aunt of a student enrolled at the Colleton County High School (CCHS) in reference to an altercation that occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 9 prior to school dismissal.

11/14/2022 - ROUND O: Deputies responded to Jacksonboro Road after a victim reported that a white male and white female were on camera, actively stealing from her residence. Officer was able to locate the two suspects fleeing the area. The stolen property was recovered. Both Helena Jade Clark, 23, and John Roy Dennis, 34, were arrested. Clark was charged with petit larceny and trespassing. Dennis was charged with trespassing, driving under suspension, petit larceny, uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle not registered/licensed.
