Man dies from gunshot
Skilar Brown, 39, died from a gunshot would on Jan. 14. An autopsy was scheduled Monday at MUSC.
Brown was found behind a shop on Lambert Road about 7:45 a.m. Thursday Jan. 14 after Fire-Rescue responded to a call about an unconscious person. The coroner and Walterboro Police Department were notified.
SLED is assisting WPD with the investigation.
Missing money and car
A man reported he and a suspect spent the night at a local hotel. When he awoke, he found the suspect, a blue money bag containing $4,000 in cash and his black 2016 Jeep Renegade were all gone.
