Called police to remove police
A Chestnut Road woman was not happy when deputies responded to her home on Feb. 19.
She met the deputy, yelling and cussing, and tried to keep him from entering the home by holding the storm door handle. The deputy came in any way to determine the cause of the reported domestic dispute.
In the meantime, the woman called 911 to have “more police to remove the police from her residence,” the report said. She was arrested for misuse of 911 and taken to the Colleton County Detention Center.
Pornography
on cell phone
Deputies responded to Colleton County High School in reference to a male student having pornography on a cell phone on Feb. 19.
The incident is under investigation.
Saturn stolen
A Dopson Road, Islandton, woman cranked her 2007 Saturn Ion on Feb. 19 to let it warm up. She left the car running and went inside.
However, when she got ready to go, she found her car was no longer in the driveway.
The car is silver with a dent on the rear driver’s side bumper.
Possible sexual
assault at CCHS
Deputies responded to Colleton County High School on Feb. 19 after a teacher reported a possible sexual assault that apparently happened several years ago. The investigation is continuing.
