The Cottageville Police Department has been issued five new vehicles from the Town of Cottageville. The new vehicles were purchased from the police department’s general fund, and will replace the former vehicles being used. According to Cottageville Police Chief Jeffery Cook, the new trucks were chosen instead of standard cars because CPD officers because of the often muddy and wooded areas that officers are called to.
