Colleton Prep would ride the pitching and hitting from Bryce Kinard to snap a three game losing streak. Kinard would pitch five innings allowing 3 hits, striking out four and contributing 2 rbis. The Hawks would get 3 hits and four rbis from Cole Davis, two hits and a rbi from Hayden Williams and 2 hits from Dustin Hadwin.

The Hawks would get 5 runs in the second and 3 runs in the sixth to secure their second win of the season.

CPA would then drop their next two contests losing to Hilton Head 3-1 and to Calhoun Academy 9-6.

Their record now stands at 2-5 on the season.
