The Colleton County Track and Field team competed in the Adidas Outdoor Nationals, held June 17-18 at the A&T Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, N.C.
In preliminaries, Shandi Brown finished 26 (12.61) and Bethany Monroe finished 45 (13.09) in the 100 Meter Dash.
Nasir Pencile finished 46 (11.31) in the boys 100 Meter Dash.
The girls relay team consisting of Shandi Brown, Kh’Mya Mosley, Makayla Chisolm, and Moneisha Jenkins, finished in ninth place in the elite division finals with a time of 49.82.
“I am extremely proud of these student-athletes on the job they did this season,” said Coach Courtney Singleton, following Saturday’s event.
