The Colleton County Cougar Cheerleaders rang in the New Decade in Orlando, Fla., where they performed in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day. In addition to watching Alabama top Michigan 35-16, the Cougar cheerleaders were able to enjoy resort accommodations and entrance to area theme parks. Arriving December 29 in Orlando, the cheerleaders spent part of each day practicing their upcoming routine with approximately 1000 participating high school cheerleaders, dancers and mascots. Game day saw the cheerleaders up early for an on-field rehearsal before their pregame performance. Cougar cheerleaders participating in the trip included Sarah Ward, Adriene Jenkins, Kaylee Pak and Jadia Fishburne along with Coach Meagan Driggers.
