The local store Consignment Envy has decided to close its doors in response to the Corvid-19 epidemic, but is listing items for sale on Facebook for shoppers.
On March 17, Consignment Envy owner Annette Davis Bradley issued the following statement in regards to the national and state mandates.
“Concerning the state of emergency in South Carolina, as of Sunday, our governor has closed the schools until the end of March. Consignment Envy wishes to adhere to all of the guidelines of the coronavirus and act in the best interest of the citizens of South Carolina and our community. Based on the facts that schools are being closed, we find the necessity to close our doors as well. Though we may not completely understand all of the reasoning behind the closures, we will never bring harm to our employees or clients, so we will follow suit,” said Bradley.
