Community Innovations is thrilled to celebrate the success of the 3rd Colleton Voice program, a testament to the talented children and the power of mentorship in Colleton County. This local talent competition, founded by Shiela Keaise, has not only showcased the incredible talents of young singers but has also strengthened community bonds, linking business, resources, and families.
The event was held on May 16, 2025, at the CCMS Mini Auditorium. There were 5 total contestants ranging in age from 5 to 12 and two overall winners from the Little Voice and Preteen categories were chosen. The Little Voice contestants were Naomi Costa, age 7 and Eden Hale, age 7. Miss Eden Hale won the Little Voice Category with her performance of “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten. Singing in the Preteen category was Jasmine Cheryl, age 12, Magali Kelsey Munoz, age 12, and Urijah Hale, age 10. Miss Jasmine Cheryl won the Preteen category with her rendition of “The Truth” by Megan Woods. Miss Cheryl also took home the title of Overall Colleton Voice Winner.
