As in previous games, the Warhawks raced to a commanding 35-6 lead at half-time and coasted to the win with a strong second half.

Offensively, the Warhawks exploded for over 300 yards rushing the football. Cole Davis led the way with 133 yards rushing on 7 carries, with 2 touchdowns. Caleb Davis rushed for 90 yards on 11 carries, and Hayden Williams rushed for 110 yards on 6 carries and a touchdown. Caden Crosby scored on two touchdown passes of 50 and 44 yards. He also had a punt return for a touchdown and contributed 5 tackles on defense.

In addition to Crosby, Colleton Prep was led defensively by Noah Catterton with 8.5 tackles, Gus Warren with 7.5 tackles and Drew Rushton with 6 tackles.

The Warhawks will go after win number 7 on the road as they travel to Greenwood to play Greenwood Christian Academy Friday night. Game time is 7:30.

“They are a good team that likes to mix it up with the run and pass. They have some good athletes that will be hard to stop. It’s been a good game the last two years against them, so we expect a battle. It will be a huge challenge for our team,” said head coach Greg Langdale.

Colleton Prep Middle School also defeated Holy Trinity 20-0, making their record 4-1.
