PRESS RELEASE. For the second consecutive time, Colleton Medical Center has received an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. This national designation recognizes Colleton Medical Center’s achievements in protecting patients from harm by providing safe healthcare services.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is an elite designation from the Leapfrog Group, a national independent watchdog that sets the highest standards for patient safety. The group assigns an A, B, C, D, or F grade to hospitals based on 30+ national performance measures reflecting errors, injuries, accidents, and infections, as well as systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.
