Colleton man caught trafficking meth

A Colleton County man is charged with trafficking drugs after he was busted last week during a traffic stop.

Jermaine Gordon, 34, of Walterboro, is charged with open container of beer or wine, possession of marijuana and trafficking ecstasy. About 499 dosage units of meth were in his possession, according to information provided by the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office.

As stated in a sheriff’s office incident report, deputies initially stopped Gordon when he was driving along Sidneys Road, near Seigler Drive in Walterboro.

Since his arrest, Gordon has made bond and is no longer in custody.
