portant community meeting to be held at the Colleton County Civic Center, 494 Hampton Street, Walterboro, South Carolina, on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The essence of this meeting will be “Community Updates Addressing Violence in Colleton County.” Citizens will be allowed to ask questions. Let’s stand together in a united front in an effort to help stop the violence going on in our community. If we unite, there is so much more that can be done. This meeting is being hosted by the NAACP Branch #5507. They are partnering with the Democratic and Republican Parties of Colleton County, the City of Walterboro, Colleton County Sheriff Department, Cottageville Police Department, and Walterboro Police Department.
