Allendale County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were assisting Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office in a vehicle pursuit that came through Allendale County on November 5th. Deputies immobilized the vehicle near Burtons Ferry Highway and Erwin Street. Two suspects fled from the vehicle on foot. The first suspect was apprehended within the town limits of Allendale by deputies. The second suspect then stole a vehicle from Allendale County and led deputies on a vehicle pursuit through Bamberg and Colleton Counties. The second suspect was apprehended near the town of Ehrhardt. County of Bamberg and Allendale County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, Bamberg County Sheriff’s Department, Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, The Department of Natural Resources and Fairfax Police Department for their efforts. The suspects had been known to steal vehicles and residents were advised to lock their vehicles. Both suspects have been transported and are housed within the Allendale County Detention Center.
