Colleton County School District Announces New Varsity Head Football Coach

Walterboro, SC, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 - The Colleton County School District is excited to announce that Coach Adam Kinloch has been hired as the new Varsity Head Football Coach. Coach Kinloch is a 2007 Colleton County High School graduate and 2002-2006 Cougar football team member. He is also the son of the late Coach Greg Kinsey who coached both Walterboro High School and Colleton County High School football. Coach Kinloch brings ten years of coaching experience to CCHS. He joins us from Whale Branch Early College High School in Beaufort, SC where he served as Assistant Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator. In his athletic role he served as NCAA Coordinator, Assistant Athletic Director and Head Coach of JV Football. He’s also been a recruiting coordinator for athletes for some of the most revered Beaufort County athletes.

In addition to his coaching experience, Mr. Kinloch is a professional School Counselor. Coach Kinloch holds a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master of Education degree both from South Carolina State University and is currently working on a Master of Art in Teaching degree from The Citadel. He is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and other athletic and counseling associations.
