Committed to making a difference in their community, the Colleton County 4-H Club partnered with In His Name to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Under the leadership of Club President Justice Olim, members worked closely with the mission’s staff to identify the most pressing need—food.
After learning about the demand for food assistance, club members took action, gathering and donating 73 pounds of food to In His Name-Colleton. The donation will help provide essential nourishment to those in need throughout the community.
In His Name-Colleton serves as a critical resource for individuals experiencing homelessness, offering emergency food and hygiene supplies, job placement assistance, and referrals for household items to those transitioning into stable housing.
Community members who wish to support this cause can donate pop-top canned goods and individually wrapped food items at the Colleton Clemson Extension Office (611 Black Street, Walterboro) or drop them off directly at In His Name Center (214 Wichman Street, Walterboro).
