The Citadel Club held its Annual Oyster Roast on Saturday March 1. The well attended event raised funds to support the Citadel Cadets of Colleton County. In the past years the club has contributed $16,800 dollars to assist the cadets with each cadet receiving funds. The club also made a $25,000 contribution toward a $50,000 Endowed Scholarship to the Citadel. The event included Oysters and a Rice Perlo. The Cherry Grove Band play a great mix of southern rock and country music to keep the crowd entertained.
