A Charleston man was shot with buckshot in a reportedly accidental hunting accident Saturday morning Oct. 29.
9-1-1 was notified of the incident at 10:20 a.m. The man and several other hunters met with responders at the intersection of Wiggins Road and Grain Bin Road near Chehaw Landing.
The man received what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury. He was treated at the scene, then transported by Fire-Rescue Medic 6 to the Trauma Center at MUSC.
SC DNR is investigating the incident.
