A Lowcountry shopping spree has been organized by friends Brandon DuBoise and Tyler Pinckney for needy children to have Christmas gifts.
DuBoise is an agent for L.H. Griffith Insurance Company and a K9 handler for the Walterboro Police Department while Pinckney is general manager at Coach’s Landscaping and Irrigation, LLC.
“We planned the 100 percent non-profit event to do something for the community and help children. This way allows everyone to see the joy on the child’s face as they buy whatever their heart pleases. They’ve had to endure the 2020 year with school hardships, just as adults have endured employment issues. Christmas may be a little tough for some. Hopefully, this will fill in the gaps for a few of those,” said DuBoise. “We are asking for any donations, but people can sponsor a child for $100 on Cashapp/Venmo,” added Pinckney.
On Facebook, Coaches Landscaping has QRs to scan and donate and a scan to pay at $lowshopspree.
