On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Superintendent Jessica Williams hosted the 2nd CCSD Parent Forum. Mrs. Williams greeted the attendees with a warm welcome and shared some exciting information about our school report cards and the State Superintendent Ellen Weaver speaking at our special school report card recognition ceremony. A light meal was provided for participants to enjoy as the meeting started. Each participant had the opportunity to share a positive event and an improvement wish(concern) that they experienced in the district since the last parent forum in September. The parent forum collaborated to create a plan to promote the positive things happening in the Colleton County School District. They plan to spread the word about the great things happening at our schools & in the district and use #CCSDOntheMove to draw attention to the district on Social Media platforms. They ended the meeting with an action plan in place and a challenge to bring a friend to join the next parent forum.
