Four J’s Ranch hosted a cattle drive event on Saturday Nov. 5 with a short introduction clinic at 10 a.m. followed by the cattle drive at noon.
The teaching clinic provided an opportunity for riders and horses to gain a better understanding of how to gently move cattle, as well as an opportunity for those non-riders to experience the ranch and participate in some of the planned activities.
The day included a wagon ride for the non-mounted participants, a chuck wagon cookout, and a scenic tour of the ranch.
The next cattle drive is scheduled for March 11.
