Mr. Ronald Watson Carter, 78, of Ehrhardt, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, December 21, 2024, at his residence. Born December 24, 1946, in Union, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Ronald Sinclair Carter and Frances Meggs Carter. He served his country faithfully in the South Carolina Army National Guard for 27 years. Watson retired from Bamberg County Public Works where he was the director, was a lifelong farmer, and a Mason. He was a member of Ehrhardt Baptist Church. Surviving are: his children, Heather Carter Pulaski of Greenville and Ron Watson Carter of Ehrhardt; grandchildren, Christopher Brian Long of Ehrhardt, Justin Watson Long of Aiken, Lindsey Pulaski Brunson of Nixville, Trey Pulaski, Brian Kyle Carter of Ehrhardt, and Carly Jessica Carter of Ehrhardt; and great grandchildren, Ivy Jae Brunson of Nixville and Ryder Lee Carter. Funeral services were held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, December 29, 2024, at Ehrhardt Baptist Church. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery, Lodge Road, Ehrhardt. Arrangements By: The Brice W.
