Mr. Henry Cope Carroll, Jr., 70, of Williams, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Trident Medical Center. Born August 30, 1954, in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Henry Cope Carroll, Sr. and Evelyn Thomas Carroll.  For over 40 years, Henry was a general merchandise broker.  Through his career he worked with Piggly Wiggly and IGA and then owned and operated his own company, Palmetto Marketing and Sales.  He was a member of Smoaks Baptist Church.  Henry was an avid golfer and old car enthusiast and enjoyed watching car restoration shows.  He also loved his animals and will be remembered most for the way he dressed, always sharply dressed no matter where he was going. Surviving are: his wife of 29 years, Sheryl Lauder Carroll of Williams; step-sons, Scott Bennett of Wadmalaw Island and Marc Bennett of Williams; nephews, Jordan Carroll of Japan and Taylor Carroll of Atlanta, Georgia; and sisters-in-law, Rebecca Lauder of Greenville and Mary Beth Brennan and her husband Jim of West Ashley.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Carroll.
