Mr. Riddick A. Broderick, Jr., affectionately known to everyone as “Ricky”, 71, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, January 19, 2025. He was the husband of the late Judith Brabham Broderick to whom he was married 32 years.
Born July 8, 1953, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Riddick A. Broderick, Sr. and Thelma DeWitt Broderick. Ricky worked for many years with Johnny Stone, J.P. Stevens, Sentry Cleaners and most recently with H.E. Crosby. Ricky was a sports fan, always enjoying baseball and football but most of all, loved the Carolina Gamecocks. He was an avid outdoorsman who truly loved nature and enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting. If you knew Ricky, you knew that he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone that he could. He dearly loved his family. Ricky was beloved by many and a friend to all. Surviving are: his aunts, Patty Warren of Williams, Pauline Page of Perryville, Maryland, and Irene Broderick Gruber of Walterboro; many beloved cousins and special friends, including a lifelong friend that he loved as a brother, Ricky Bruins.
