Brice Herndon Funeral Chapels and Crematory

Mr. Brett Steven Weber, 63, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, September 18, 2022, at his residence.

He was born February 27, 1959, he was a son of the late Harry Edgar Weber, Sr., and the late Ruth Elizabeth Darnell Weber.  Brett was a hard working man who worked hard to provide for his family.  He would work seven days a week as a welder but always made the precious time to spend with his daughter.   He was an amazing, supportive and loving Dad.  Coming up, he played baseball, while his father coached the team and mother cheered them on, enjoyed duck hunting, shrimping and salt water fishing.  Had a vast amount of hobbies that he was very talented in that included Bowling, Billiards and Darts.  Was a huge NASCAR fan, rooting for Dale Ernhart, Sr.  He was self taught on the guitar, later sharing that talent and teaching his daughter how to play.  He was authentically a self taught, self sufficient man with a dry wit.

He is survived by: his daughter, Melissa Weber; brothers, Harry “Corky” E. Weber, Jr. (Kathy), Shawn Weber (Paula), Donald Weber and Shane Weber; a sister, Robin Weber; special friend and companion, Sherry Hann-Weber; best friend, Michael Martin (Joanne); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: a brother, Michael Weber and a sister, Melody Hegidio.

A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon, September 27, 2022, at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, SC, 29488.
