The September 9, 2024 blood drive at Good Shepherd Lutheran church had 47 possible donors to come in and give a total of 51 pints of blood. The reason there are more pints than donors is if a donor give the “power red” it is counted as two pints. Those that came in were: Mike Kuszmaul (11 gallons), Stacy Thomas, Fran Mack, Jessica Goodwin, Margaret Jones, Bucky McCormick, Leon Brown, Rebecca Foster, Mitchell Bennett, Celeste Stone, Wanda Dora, Gary Hermann, Donald Davis, Vicki Syfrett, Mylinda O’Quinn, Sarah Judy, Barbara Hawkins, Bill Weeks, Kenneth Hlausa, Robin Tanner, Willie White, Dr. Riddick Ackerman III, Thomas Whitacre, Sonya Manigo, Kristina Moore, Michael Brinson, Sandra Ferguson, Robert Langdale, Keshia Edwards, Jeanette Smith, James Stone, Kristin Stone, Constance Barnes McLeod, Crystal DeLonge, Michael DeLonge, Charles Russ, Ricky Crosby, Konia Haynes, Terry Pournelle, P.A. Pournelle, and Norma Weeks. (25 gallons).
