Mrs. Betty Wethington Alderman, 73, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday afternoon, November 23, 2021 at The Oaks in Beaufort. She was the widow of Thomas “Tommy” Eugene Alderman, to whom she was married 53 years.
Born March 26, 1948 in Walterboro, she was the youngest of seven children born to the late John Willoughby Wethington and Allie Christine McQuagge Wethington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago Illinois 60601.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, November 27, 2021 at Peniel Baptist Church, Forks Road, Islandton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
