Just recently, our incredible K9s and their dedicated handlers embarked on an adventure for their annual recertification training! Partnering with the American Society of Canine Trainers International, this multi-agency event brought together officers from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, Walterboro Police Department, Hardeeville Police Department, Jasper County SC Sheriff’s Office, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, and even the Culpeper Police Department from Virginia.
For an entire week, these teams engaged in intensive training that included engaging classroom sessions, hands-on vehicle searches, and intense tracking exercises. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and every participant demonstrated strong commitment and teamwork.
