Augusta Highway fire deemed suspicious

A suspicious fire destroyed a doublewide mobile home in the 11500 block of Augusta Highway (S.C. Highway 61) Sunday evening Oct. 18.

The fire was suspicious in origin and is still under investigation by the Colleton County Sheriff’s office and Fire-Rescue.
