The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office issued a Press Release announcing a joint investigation with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office in the matter of an individual wanted for Grand Larceny. Anthony Lee Harris, 38, of Harleyville, SC was wanted for Grand Larceny in connection with the theft of a sawmill. He faced charges in both Colleton and Charleston County.
A subsequent Press Release announced the arrest of Harris on the charges of grand larceny. Equipment recovered in the arrest was from at least four law enforcement jurisdictions. At the time of the release Harris was being held at the Colleton County Detention Center and is facing pending charges from three other agencies related to the thefts.
