Warren named to dean’s list

Mollie Shay Warren of Walterboro has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Clemson University.

An elementary education major, she is the daughter of Marc and Angella Warren and has a brother, Gus Warren. Her grandparents are Jerry and Linda Butler and Sylvia Warren.

Two graduate

from USC Aiken

Larry Green and Amanda O’Quinn, both of Walterboro, graduated in December from the University of S.C. in Aiken.

The two were among December graduates honored during the college’s annual Intern Celebration held prior to graduation. The event recognizes accomplishments of graduates and presents them with their educator pins.

Three graduate from Clemson

Local students graduating from Clemson University at the 2019 fall semester ceremony were:

 Taylor Ann Cole of Walterboro, who graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology;

 Jessica T. Dooley of Edisto Island, who graduated with a bachelor of science in biosystems engineering;

 Jonae A. Riley of Yemassee, who graduated with a bachelor of science in psychology.

Hodge named

to dean’s list

Felisha Hodge of Walterboro has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla.

Students named to the list must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Bradley

on dean’s list

Loula Bradley of Walterboro was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Ga.

The list requires a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Crosby named

to dean’s list

George Derrick Wayne Crosby II of Walterboro has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Presbyterian College in Clinton.

The list requires a grade point average of 3.3-3.9.

Two named

to dean’s list

Two Colleton County students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway. They are:

 Dyneira Brown of Round O, communications major;

 Rylee Chandler of Yemassee, marine science pre-major.

The list requires a 3.5-3.99 grade point average.

Graduates Coastal Carolina

Micaela Stafford of Yemassee graduated from Coastal Carolina University in Conway in December. She received her B.A. degree in education in early childhood education.

On president’s list at Clemson

The following students have been named to the president’s list for the fall semester at Clemson University in Clemson:

 Caleb R. O’Quinn of Walterboro, electrical engineering;

 Holly E. Rizer of Edisto Island, visual arts;

The list requires a 4.0 (all As) grade point average.

Three on dean’s list at Anderson

Judith Gibson, DeAnna Herndon and Lacy Pulis, all of Walterboro, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Anderson University in Anderson.

The list requires a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

On honors lists

The following students have been named to the president’s and dean’s lists for the fall semester at The College of Charleston:

 Agnes Tuten of Walterboro, dean’s list, public health major;

 Bridgette Johnson of Walterboro, president’s list, exercise science major.

The president’s list requires a grade point average of 3.8 or higher. The dean’s list requires a 3.6 grade point average.

On dean’s list at USC Aiken

The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of S.C. Aiken:

 Kayla Christopher of Walterboro, elementary education;

 Jordan O’Quinn of Ruffin, elementary education;

 and Joshua Pontoon of Walterboro, fine arts.

The list requires a grade point ratio of at least 3.5.

On dean’s list

at Newberry

Two Walterboro students, Kensley Dantzler and Jena McGuire, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Newberry College.

The list required a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Graduates from Western

Governors

Aundraya Hildebrand of Walterboro received her B.A. degree in special education from Western Governors University.
