The second annual Ruffin Bonfire Cookout was held on Saturday Oct. 29 at the old Ruffin school campus. This is the first gathering since Ruffin High and Walterboro High combined their classes in 2003. The alumni reunited for a full day of celebration which included fellowship, games, prizes, food, music, entertainment, and tailgating.
There were 28 classes represented from the Class of 1968 through the Class of 2002 at the event. Festivities started at 1 p.m. and lasted until dark.
