The Colleton County Annual Veteran’s Day Parade was held Sunday Nov. 10, in downtown Walterboro. Sponsored by the Colleton County Veterans’ Council, this year’s parade honored local veterans for their service.
“We are very happy to come together in order to honor the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us safe,” said Bubba Trippe, who served as a judge in Sunday’s parade. Other judges included Patricia Grant and Josh Bell of Burger King, head of Rice Festival. Parade emcee was Jeffery Musgrave.
First-place in the float competition was captured by Welch Creek Church. Second place went Scout Pack 646 and third place went to the Grand Marshall Float Blue and Gold Star.
