Northside Elementary third-grader Isabella Lunden was named the 2019-20 school winner of the Palmetto Pride poster contest.

The state-sponsored contest draws attention to state concern of littering the state. Her poster now will go to a regional competition in the Lowcountry region for a prize of $250. The winner of the regional contest competes for a $500 prize with the winners of the other regions.

“We want to recognize the artistic talents of Isabella and her schoolmates today. At Northside, everyone is a winner!” said Bob Carl, NES art teacher.
