Forestry Association of S.C. board member Joe Hamilton of Green Pond has been elected the new chairman of the S.C. Forestry Commission’s Advisory Committee of County Forestry Boards.
He was appointed to the county forestry board by the Colleton County Legislative Delegation and recently elected as a member of the Forestry Association of S.C. He is also a member of the American Forest Foundation’s Woodland Operating Committee and was featured on the cover of the fall 2017 issue of Woodland magazine, a national publication of the American Forest Foundation.
