Walterboro woman to spend 18 months behind bars | Court | The Press and Standard

A Walterboro woman will spend 18 months behind bars after pleading guilty to three charges when she appeared in Colleton County General Sessions Court last week.
Chelsey Wynn, 25, was ordered to serve 18 months of concurrent seven-year prison terms on charges of possession of crack cocaine and possession of a sawed-off shotgun. After the prison time, she will spend three years on probation.
Fourteenth Circuit Court Judge Perry Buckner also sentenced Wynn to serve 18 months of a five-year prison term, which will also run concurrently, and three years’ probation on a charge of possession of ecstasy.
  Lisa M. Smoak, 36, of Cottageville, plead guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
  Jermey L. Filowiat, 23, of Landrum, plead guilty to charges of second-degree assault and battery and second-degree burglary, was given concurrent three-year prison terms with credit for the 473 days he has spent in custody awaiting a hearing, and was placed on probation for three years.
  David S. Garrett, 20, of Walterboro, plead guilty to a charge of second-degree assault and battery, was ordered to spend up to three years in custody under the state’s Youthful Offender Act, and then spend one year on probation.
  Deonte Dicks, 27, of Ridgeville, plead guilty to a charge of forgery, was given a suspended four-year prison term with credit for time served and was placed on probation for two years.
  Sabrina C. Pritchard, 31, of Charleston, plead guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine, was given a suspended three-year prison term with credit for time served and was then placed on probation for two years.
  Gioacchio Vanerelli Jr., 36, of Asheville, N.C., plead guilty to a charge of breach of trust, was given a suspended three-year prison term with credit for time served and was placed on probation for five years.
  Shalissa K. Patterson, 21, of Islandton, plead guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and was given a suspended one-year prison term with credit for time served and placed on probation for three years.
  Jermaine Garrett, 42, of Jacksonboro, plead guilty to a charge of second-degree domestic violence, was given a suspended three-year prison term and placed on probation for two years.
  Lakisha Talley, 33, of Varnville, plead guilty to a charge of financial transaction card fraud, was given a suspended one-year prison term with credit for time served and was placed on probation for one year.
  Joy R. Walker-Cook, 46, of Walterboro, plead guilty to a charge of use of a motor vehicle without permission, was given a suspended one-year prison term with credit for time served and was placed on probation for four years.
  Rakime Q. Jenkins, 28, of Green Pond, plead guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was fined $100 and costs.
  Bryan Bell, 28, of North Charleston, plead guilty to a charge of third-degree domestic violence and was sentenced to time served.
  Robert N. Graham, 42, of Goose Creek, plead guilty to a charge of cruelty to children and was sentenced to time served.
  Nicole Segura, 32, of Cottageville, plead guilty to malicious injury to property and was sentenced to time served.

    What happens when Jermey Lee Filowiat gets out of prison and starts using the correct spelling of his name (Jeremy) and nothing comes up on any background checks about him being a convicted sexual offender? You have a big problem on your hands, South Carolina.
