Children from Cottageville Headstart learned about art at the Colleton County Memorial Library on Nov. 10. Bridget Murray (above), Landy A. Jones (right) and Brother Nizar (middle) all came to the library to tell children about their individual specialty. Murray is a fabric artist, while Jones does color pencil portraits. Nizar describes his work as “Gullah interpretive realism painting.” Jones and Nizar did caricatures of several of the children while Murray showed and explained her fabric craft.
