Danels promoted
to lt. colonel
Major Allison Danels has been promoted to lieutenant colonel in the Air Force.
She is chief of military justice at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., responsible for ensuring the proper administration of military justice and acting as a litigation consultant for four training wings and two training groups from six military installations.
A 1998 graduate of Howard University with a B.A. in political science, she received her juris doctor from Georgetown University of Law Center, graduated squadron officer school in 2005 and the Air Command and Staff College in 2014.
She practices law in Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
She is the daughter of Alfred and Annie Chisolm of Yemassee. She and her husband, Robert, have a son, Alex.
Students enroll
at USC Upstate
The following students have enrolled at USC Upstate in Spartanburg for the fall semester:
