Bonnie and Clyde, 3-month-old German Shepherd mix puppies, are headed for new homes through Promises Rescue in Virginia, thanks to efforts by the local Friends of the Colleton County Animal Shelter (FoCCAS.) The pups were nursed back to health by Coleman and Audra Hudson after the two were found abandoned in a swamp. Husband and wife team Lee White and Kay Cross of Charlottesville, Va., donated their airplane to pilot the dogs to their new homes. Pictured are Cross and FoCCAS volunteer Shelley Thomas.
