Westbury Ace Hardware has been honored by the Ace Hardware Corporation for its outstanding performance. The local store was designed as a Pinnacle Performance Retailing store, one of only a few hundred of the 4,800 Ace retailers in more than 60 countries to achieve the status.
“For a store to achieve Pinnacle Performance Retailing is an outstanding accomplishment,” said Dan Miller, vice president of retail operations and new business for Ace Hardware Corporation. “We’re pleased to recognize Westbury’s Ace Hardware, Walterboro, and its associates for their outstanding achievements and are proud to say they’re part of the Ace family.
The award required Westbury’s to meet a number of performance goals designed to help provide a better overall shopping experience for local customers. One example is “helpful certification,” where Ace associates complete courses such as Helpful 101 and 201, along with a storewide weeklong team-based certification event.
“The team at Westbury’s Ace Hardware is incredibly pleased to have earned the state as a Pinnacle Performance Retailing store,” said Richard Westbury, Walterboro CEO. “What this means for our customers is that we are more committed than ever to providing our loyal shoppers with the best possible retail experience. From customer service to product offerings and more, we’re taking ‘Ace helpful’ to a new level.”
