About 40 people participated in a poker run to benefit the Friends of the Colleton County Animal Shelter (FoCCAS) last Saturday. The event raised about $2,000 for local homeless animals. “The money raised will support our community spay/neuter programs and our rescue/adoption programs,” said Sarah Miller of FoCCAS. “ We look forward to hosting the event again next year.”
