The Cougar Tennis team fell to Bluffton 6-0 in an away match April 6. The loss puts the Cougars 3-2 overall and 0-2 in region play. They will face Summerville in two region games this week, scheduled for Tuesday at home and Thursday on the road.
Coach Jeremy Varn is hoping his team will bounce back after the region loss. “Up to this point, we have been very competitive with everyone we have played,” said Varn. “This just shows we have a lot more work to do to get to the level where we want to be. We still have a shot at finishing with a decent region record and fighting for the No. 3 spot. This group will bounce back because they are very competitive and want to be good.”
